True! I'm already pushing my luck: Last summer, I lured a couple of
friends in with the promise of 4 days of Lake Huron sail-camping on my M17.
However, before we could leave we had to reinstall all of the woodwork,
re-bed ports, re-rig the mast, install a VHF, rewire the trailer lights . .
. the list goes on. We ended up spending only two days on Lake Huron. As
much as I sound like the jerk for foisting boat work on my friends, I
actually honestly thought I would be done with everything in time for the
(tightly scheduled) trip. I learned a valuable lesson: Take your best
estimate of the time needed to do any given project and double it!

How about 4 strong friends? :) of course, they may not stay friends long if
you asked this too often.
