Randy:

I ordered a board from Bob Eeg which wouldn't fit into my slot. Before sending it to
Doug Kelch, I took it to a machinist friend who traced it
and made some notes. He made the board out of 3/4" cold roll plate steel. After it
was primed and painted I think it weighed around 63 pounds.
The project cost about $120. I was never able to sail with the original board so I
can't compare the performance. Maybe ingnorance is bliss, but
the boat seems to sail well with the new board.
