Ron and Cathryn, I too, am a member of the M17 electric club (55 lb. thrust): Perfect for getting to and from the dock and much more reliable than my 4-horse Suzuki Iron Judas. I would miss the Suzuki on an extended cruise, however. --Craig

It works great. It's cheap, quiet, light and smoke and odor free.
