That's excellent to know, Tom . . . And they say the M15 has an advantage over the M17
because it can fit in a
garage . . . Well . . . :-) --Craig

Subject: M17 through a 7ft. opening

I solved this very problem Larry. I think the building I now refer to as the boat
shed has a standard
opening. To get the M17 in I simply lowered the tongue of the trailer to the ground
and slid the whole works
backwards into the building. Admitedly it was close--the pulpit cleared by a couple
of inches. I was
prepared to let air out of the tires, but that tactic didn't turn out to be
necessary... t

Gary,
I don't know if all M17's are the same, but my '76 has a 21'4" mast,
21'10" with fittings and masthead light. If your garage door is a
standard 7', it won't fit in unless you remove the bow pulpit and
tabernacle.

I'm interested in those M17 line drawings. I need to know how high
the
boat is on the trailer to know if it will fit through my garage door
and how long the mast is.

Thanks.
