	I appear to really be out of the loop, but I teak oil Endelig's 
rudder.  As she seldom spends more than a day at a time in the water, 
the oil provides good protection and is very easy to maintain.  A 
little oil on a rag during cleanup and the rudder is protected.  I do 
use spar varnish on the tiller.
