Larry, I took a close look at my 1982 trailrite trailer and conclude it should not be on the road. All of the trailer was badly rusted. The hollow 2x2 cross brace (axel) was about eaten through by rust and the wheels looked like they could break free at any time. I have had it 8 years and sailed in salt water all the time. I junked it and bought a new Pacific trailer.
