Oh, I don't know, Stephen...

Launch time seems to be governed more by technique and practices than actual
round-the-trailer velocity, and it usually seems for me that whenever I'm
setting up/taking down there isn't any shade to be had and the sun is
beating down relentlessly and the heat is rising from the asphalt and I feel
as though I'm about to melt into a pile of goo right there in the cockpit.
I'd LOVE to cut my rigging time down. One way I've done that is by leaving
the Busca's mast up on the trailer for most of the season, so I only rig a
few times a year. The only drawback to that is that each time I do rig, the
next step doesn't come automatically. And every now and then I find I've
gotten some task out of order. Which, by the way, is how I come to hold the
world record for M17 mast takedown time. *grin*.

On my vacation trips, I unload almost everything of any weight and place it
in the bed of my pickup truck, making the rear wheels heavier and the
trailer lighter and giving me lots more work!

Maine or bust: THREE WEEKS!!!!

The only thing more ludicrous than this question is the guy who actually
replied 18 minutes was his best time to date. If you're concerned about when
to start the stopwatch YOU MIGHT NEED A NEW HOBBY! You're going SAILING for
gosh sakes...on a really good day you can make the boat travel at the same
speed as WALKING. Is there some kind of race to see who can get on the water
first to start relaxing?
