On a run, if you let the sheet get away, it could concieveably end up alongside the boat in the water. It never happened. When I installed the new RF-5 I also replaced the mainsheet and cut it about five feet to long. I'm not certain that was the solution as the possibilities may not be founded. The easiest way to see what others have done in this regard is to bring it up to the Potter forum people. Lots of P-15's have this conversion, I have pictures of the application, but, they're on disc in San Francisco and I'm in Washington until mid week. Bill
