I can't think that would happen Todd. The IdaSailor rudders are exceptionally stout, and if it's the cheek plate to blade joinery that you'd suspect, it's very similar to the M15 setup, and I've never experienced that phenomenon in that boat. But heck, maybe. Perhaps Larry or Randy can add some thoughts...
