Hi Gary, I haven't weighed my NYMPH, but Rick's numbers seem about right. My wife and I could easily lift it and put it on the roof rack of the car.
The bottom and sides of mine are covered with fiberglass too. If anyone is interested in a NYMPH, mine is available, in as new condition; red hull, white boot top, and blue bottom (anti fouling). The interior is varnished. It also has an official British Board of Trade "Plimsoll" mark on both sides, so that you can see that the vessel is not overloaded. Two adults, a case of beer, and a supply of food will bring it down to the Plimsoll line. A pair of elegant, lightened, and bright finished oars, as well as bronze oarlocks are included, as is my skate board wheel transom dolly, so that you can easily move it from parking lot to launch ramp, wheelbarrow style, without scuffing paint. It operates equally well in tractor or pusher configuration. It was built by a professional (me), and represents the 4th stitch and glue boat I have built, along with a bunch of model sailboats, rubber band powered submarines, and a 30 foot gaff rigged cutter, built in '46 / '47. I want an arm and a leg for it - obviously - but if the leg is shapely enough, I might be willing to settle for just the leg. Remember, this would make someone a fine, unexpected, and surprising Christmas present, in which case the big red Christmas bow will be supplied by the builder.
