I know some of you have heard of, and some corresponded with, Walt Murray, who maintained a web page with plans for build-it-yourself self-steering windvanes. Today, Jan Alkema, an internet friend of his, announced that Walt recently passed away of a heart attack. A sad day for sailors everywhere.
