I know of two good ways to quiet noisy mast wires.
1. If the wires are already in the mast, you can pick up some foam plumbing
pipe insulation (usually about four feet long and hollow in the middle -- very
light) and slide it up the wires into the mast. It will probably catch on the
ends of screws and such, but a little wiggling should get several four foot
sections of the stuff up the mast.
2. If you are installing the wires, you can attach nylon ties to the wires
and leave the end of the tie sticking out -- don't trim them off. Put a tie
every eight to 12 inches so that the untrimmed ends of the ties stick out in a
radial pattern inside the mast. The ties will prevent the wires from slapping
inside the mast.
