I found the same thing, some nice recent boats located on one of the coasts.
There are two 02' or newer boats on the West coast. Newer boats use lead
ballast, even the 15, although I read on the 'net that only the 17 and 23
used lead ballast. That why I called Bob. He had a name of the company he
used, I also received this from a guy who owns 4 small sailboats, including
two M15:

http://www.uship.com/

"Using that site, I got a well-rated hauler to take the boat down the coast
and deliver it to my sisters house. Everything worked like a charm. I took
my time, checked the rates for comparable loads before I went trolling.
Flexibility helps."

That was the what I learned, but of course now shipping becomes Bob's
problem. Plus the new model has an upgraded trailer that uses a two
position mast holder, low for travel and higher for raising the mast single
handed. Word on the internet regarding Bob is positive. I've never seen a
Montgomery in person, but I am have been familiar with their reputation for
several years. The pain with buying new is buying gear to finish fitter her
out. The boats on the West coast were about $7500 - $8,000, but they had an
engine and anchor, saving another $1,200 over new. I was expecting shipping
to be about $1,500 from the West coast if I could "share a load".
