I'm working my way down the list of things to fix or upgrade on my M-17, and the traveler is the next thing on the "buy parts" list. My existing traveler is semi-functional and is mounted just aft of the cabin hatch. So the question I would like to pose to the group concerns placement: should I put the new traveler back in the same area or mount it mid-cockpit? I see on the photos site that some travelers are mid-cockpit -- is that the way it is on the newer boats? For those that have relocated the track aft do you have regrets?
