Couple more things you could check are the cockpit hatches and the
pintles/gudgeons. I have one hatch cover that I have to sit on while
motoring or it rattles a bit at certain RPM's, but the worst was the old
gudgeons and pintles before I replaced them.  They were worn and sloppy. 
Made a lot or racket with the old 2 cycle I used at that time.
