Oops! My bad. And ....if you ask me.....Lake of the Woods looks much more inviting. Lake of the Ozarks, turns out is pretty narrow, and everything I've read about it sounds like powerboat/party/bar heaven. Not really what I'd want to drive that far for. Quite a drive up to MN but if we were to get a group together willing to go next Aug. I think there is a good chance we'd be willing to go. Figure we'd have a week of driving (roundtrip) for a week of sailing. Let's see....here in Havasu in August the weather is ..oh about 115 with a 60 degree dewpoint, humidity and thunderstorms. I'm betting it's be a little nicer up there in MN, huh? Bones???Definitely have to start putting something together pretty soon though (next couple of month) in order to guarantee time off to go.
