HI Gang, I've been on this lake on a 50' rented houseboat with a bunch of my fishing buddies years ago. The channels and passages around islands have day markers and are easy to follow with a chart. But, once you get into the big water, it's really easy to lose bearings. This was in pre-GPS days. We had 3 compasses on the houseboat and they all read differently! At one point, we had to swallow our pride and ask some muskie fisherman where we were. Damn tourists.
