I checked the route and it would be approx 1400 miles or 24 hrs of driving.? I've never towed a boat that far before, so naturally, I'm a bit hesitant to make the trip.? However, I have been considering it.? If you're truly interested, then let's talk off line about a possible convoy. So, the question here is, given a steep launch ramp, is a travel lift needed? I think not. Albeit, 4 wheel drive from a tow vehicle will be required. We can also think about Vermillion, or Leech Lake. I do know of marinas on those lakes which slips sailboats.
