Frank,,,,,your question is a refreshing release from a sculling problem that 
has just been carried to the very edge of  reason.................

I think Jerry Montgomery himself said somewhere in the archives, that the 15 or 
the 17 could and would withstand far more than the capitan thereof.........SO, 
I would presume it would withstand the current conditions off the coast of 
Oregon presently far better than the driver !..........
