Bill, Not quite that small, although my formal name is John (Rick is from my middle name, Merrick) John (or Jon) Davies is a pretty common name, particularly in Wales. I lived until I was almost eleven in a small town a couple of miles from the Welsh border, where it seemed as if every other person was named either Davies or Jones. There were two other John Davies's in my class at school. But I've never been to Santa Clara.
The cross-sheeting in Bella is pretty clever, and obviously very convenient, but it doesn't seem to work in the M-17, where the jib sheet fairleads are track-mounted, and are usually not far forward of the forward end of the cockpit.
