Dear Montgomery boats owners (and especially Jerry),

my 1982 M-17 boat has a bent sidestay fitting, at the deck mounting
plate. The photo at

http://www.math.wisc.edu/~andreic/SDIM0650.jpg

shows the two fittings for the two sidestays, one that is in good
shape and the one that's bent. What looks to be bent is a fitting that
looks like half of a turnbuckle, its jaw, and the turnbuckle screw. Do
you happen to know who manufactures these, and where I can buy them
from? I vaguely remember Jerry saying that he had some of the original
hardware that was used for these boats, is this fitting one of them?

A second question: the electrical connector that was connecting the
mast-top light to the deck-mounted fitting (at the end of the wire
that is at the base of the mast) has been cut-off by some previous
owner. Same question as above: who manufactures it, and where can it
be bought? The female connector on the deck looks like the male one
would screw into it, and it has two metal terminals inside that are
bent at 90 degrees angles. It has a metal cap that screw over it to
keep water from getting in.

Thanks!

Andrei.
