The trouble is that the part I need is only half of a turnbuckle; I suspect that if I buy a regular turnbuckle it will be too long for what I need, even with all the adjustments at the shortest setting. Does anyone happen to know what this "half-turnbuckle" is called? If I knew, I could try to find someone who sells something like this.
