Hello, My name is Rob and I purchased "Aegir" two years ago. She's a 1976 M-17 that's lived in Arizona, Oregon, and now in Seattle, Washington.
I'm new to sailing and so far have cruised all around Lake Union and Lake Washington. I'm planning to take a short trip to the San Juans before the summer is over too. I ran across this site and found lot's of helpful information. I do have a little problem that I'm hoping someone can shed some light on. I have a 5hp Honda 4 stroke and my friend didn't see the "this side up for transport or storage" and lay the motor back/propeller down in his garage for a few days. When I came to pick up the motor, oil came leaking out from the water intake and from under the motor cover. I am pretty illiterate when it comes to motors so any tips on how I can get this once beautifully running motor to start again would be much appreciated.
