the Honda 2H long shaft is a great motor for the M15.  my opinon is a 3hp motor
would be a perfect fit.  anything greater is more motor than necessary.

the limit of all 'small' motors is none have a fuel pump so one must fill the
tank while hanging over the back of the boat once an hour ... IF ONLY a
building would make a 2-3hp motor with a fuel pump!!!

Does anyone know if this 5 HP Honda engine ( BF5A) will work well on my M-15
with the lifting bracket mount. I believe it has a short shaft but I think my
current Yamaha 2.5 also has a short shaft. Is the 60lb weight going to be a
problem?

Thanks... Lou (M-15 Still The One)
