Without being too coy, I can tell you that the MooTools dev team has been working on a new roadmap and plan to jumpstart development on MooTools again and it's already working. There's a flurry of activity on the dev list as we prepare 1.5 and some other news that will make you feel more assured in MooTools long term viability.
