I really enjoyed the comments regarding spousal approval of movie poster decoration, especially from JR. I have not had as much luck. When I tried to pass off a Rio Grande half sheet as a romantic poster because John Wayne is kissing Maureen Ohara, I got slammed. But she finally relented and let me keep it. I have tried another tactic with my window cards. First I start out with an innocent looking colorful window card, then over time I exchange it for another such as Psycho with Janet Leigh, Creature From The Black Lagoon, or Kiss Me Deadly. It can take up to a week or two before my wife notices the change and I have to replace them with a more acceptable title, Hello Dolly or Three Caballeros. This technique also works when I buy a new piece of video gear. My collection is essentially confined to my lonely TV room with a few allowed in the family room. But I am still trying to expand.
