This is the last request you will receive from me about this. Look, this
kind of thing is completely new to me -- so I'm just going to come out and say
it:
If you have any interest at all in making a small donation to help out Joe,
Fred, Sue and Ed, then you have 9 more hours left to do it -- I'll be
distributing the money in the MOPO Friends pool shortly after Midnight
tonight.
I started this program a week ago and was planning to run it a bit longer,
but contributions have dropped off to the point where there is really no point
in delaying the distribution -- and I think it is important to get this little
ray of sunshine and assistance to our friends now, as they are
now into their third week of displacement.
Remember, this fund was set up so that folks who can only afford to
donate $5 or $10 can still make a difference -- by pooling a lot of small
donations into one significant amount that will be given as "from your
friends at MOPO".
But that idea only works if A LOT of people give $5 or $10 -- instead
of just taking a pass and thinking "well, my 10 bucks isn't going to make any
difference."
So, please, if you have a few dollars you can live without... go to PayPal
