i own both styles of THE PARADINE CASE. (i acquired both within
the last year at fair/good values). only one is framed. but, for
this film, isnt it overkill to display both? which do you think is
the better style????
unlike, THE PARADINE CASE, i do display side-by-side both styles
of the half sheets of Claudette Colbert's IMITATION OF LIFE because
the artwork is so different. I, also, have a few (DOUBLE
INDEMNITY, THE POSTAMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE, THE HEIRESS.........) where i have
both the one sheet and insert displayed because they each have totally
different artwork. I own both the OS and insert of 1935
MAGNIFICENT OBESSION, but the artwork is the same, so only one is displayed
right now.
i have reached the point that i have run out of wall space (70
framed/displayed), so new acquisitions are not as exciting to me anymore.
4 months ago, i acquired a long, sought-after REBECCA original, insert. it
is "displayed" in the corner in front of the one sheet of LOVE LETTERS, in its
plastic wrapping.......i know i have to do some shifting.
i am not someone who collects things in filing cabinets.
...............but i have run out of room------
