I asked yesterday about an unusual format for
a US international one sheet that has the words "short stop" on the back as part
of the NSS stamp. The only response I had was a rather witty email from Freeman
who suggested that the term may be referring to a "well rounded
athlete with quick response, and valuable in a clutch play,
usually going by names like Biff, Scooter, or Jerry". Good
one Freeman.
I'm sure that there are many on this list who would
consider themselves experts on US poster formats. Surely someone has come across
this form of poster. I am guessing that it is similar to the US printed "one
stops" that are quite rare but I would appreciate it if someone could enlighten
me.
Here are some images that may help. Note that there
is a New Zealand censor sticker that has been attached but the poster was
printed in the USA.
