We have to meet sometime...this is the second great thing you sent my
way this month: the great tip on "Stepping into Liquid" and now the
Joan Crawford clip. I have an extensive collection of Crawford
memorabilia and posters, and despite the terrible dip her reputation has
taken, I continue to be amazed at the variety of roles she played and
her incredible longevity in the business (ditto Susan Hayward, Barbara
Stanwyck, Claudette Colbert)..this clip was a fun and humorous bit of
eye candy.
The first movie poster I ever got and which still graces my family
room...Raiders of the Lost Ark... Amstel went to school here in Philly,
and I derive great satisfaction that my son is going to school for
graphic design and illustration, and has also developed a great deal of
love of the movies. This has been, by the way, a great thread to learn
what other MOPO folks find valuable in their collections!!
