Here are the 6 old movie events I attend or hope to attend - I'd like to find more:
1. Syracuse - mid-March old films/dealers 2. Cinevent - Columbus Memorial Day weekend old films/dealers 3. Toronto Film Society at Eastman House - Rochester Sunday & Monday of first weekend in August - great restored 35MM prints - no dealers www.interlog.com/~tfs/ 4. Capitolfest Aug 12 - 13 Rome, New York 2nd weekend in August romecapitol.com 5. Cinecon Los Angeles - labor day weekend - dealers/35MM restored prints - never been there - hope to go this year. 6. Cinesation Gish Film Festival - Mascillon, Oh last weekend in Sept www.cinephiles.org/The_Fall_Cines.html Here are the 6 shows I hope to attend this year. #3 and #4 are not on the mopo list. The Eastman House event and Capitolfest are on back to back weekends this year, so I'm hoping to take a week off work and do both.
