Go east, young man!
The annual Cinefest in Syracuse, NY, a 4 day event in March, boasts
great films in both 16 and 35mm, plus two dealers' rooms inhabited by
such poster luminaries as Zeev Drach and Stephen Sally. People arrive
by air and auto from all over the world to attend. Lake-effect snow
squalls make getting there an adventure.
There is no poster auction associated with this gathering.
The Holiday Inn provides everything under one roof, with a cozy
restaurant and bar. There are fine off-site eateries in the area, as
well.
