His old partner, Dan Rowan, was wiretapped by a private
detective, who was working for Sam Giancana, when he dared
to date Giancana's girlfriend, Phyllis McGuire, of the McGuire
sisters. This was recently written about in THE ROAD TO DALLAS
a study of the Kennedy Assassination by David Kaiser, a professor
at the Naval War College. Kaiser who meticulously combed thousands
of pages of released FBI files on the assassination paints a pretty
convincing
picture that JFK was the victim of a conspiracy hatched by the Mob and
crazy Cubans. But Lee Harvey Oswald WAS the trigger man and he
was not the loner nut case that the Warren commission depicted or the
hapless victim of the entertaining but fantastical film by Oliver Stone.
