Hi Michael and all,

I wanted to remind you all that I build the custom frames for inserts, half
sheets, window cards, and many non standard size frames. Since I hand cut each
frame, I can pretty much make any size and ship any size up to 31x46. I build
them all with genuine 1/8" UV filtered plexiglass and, depending on their
value, professional quality backing. I even have different frame styles
available. All of it is offered at wholesale cost to fellow collectors. We even
offer free shipping specials on multipacks.

So, for instance, a 14x36 with genuine UV filtered plexiglass and
professional quality foamcore backing is $38.98. You can't beat that!! Even the
full museum archival inserts are only $59. Anyone who would like to have a link
on my website, please contact me and I will review your information. Many
members of our group order their framing from me and many dealers on the group
offer my frames to their customers and make some profit in the process. They
can all attest to the high quality of the frames.

Now, they are simple frames, but they are high quality and allow you to
get your items on the wall without spending a fortune. Also, you know they are
made by me, a fellow collector who uses them for their own collection, so you
know they are going to preserve your items.

I only ship within the lower 48 states of the U.S. and the shipping costs
are very low and, again, most multipacks have free shipping. So, just a
reminder since you were talking about the high cost of framing. It doesn't have
to be.

i would love to buy old frames from theatres...but this one doesnt do it for
me. would love to buy deco look gold or other wood.

unfortunately, i do not search OTHER MEMORABILIA on ebay because there is too
much junk in that category........

ALSO, the frame item you posted is without glass. my guess it is 70s or more
recent.

ANYONE WITH LINK TO OLD MOVIE MEMORABILIA should post them on
ebay,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,that stuff is priceless.

  Mornin' All,

Michael, I wished you had sent him to this auction. Not store bought,
but.........

I use cinemarecall sometimes as well as vmann on ebay.......but my respect
for ebay and it's high and mighty obnoxious attitude has been pretty much
summed up on this list during the past months plus.........Vaughn

a few days ago, i received a question from an ebayer regarding my poster
(Crosby poster with starting price of 49.99, ending today). i stated in the
description, "original" INSERT.

the question was, what are the dimensions of your poster?

having had another email from him, i learned that he wanted to buy my
poster, but he did not want to buy it since he did not want to invest in
expensive frames, since he had a few inserts unframed.

    WOW---
        1. he was not aware of the standard measurements.
        2. he thought that unless you get custom frames, you must go to stores
like K-Mart or Sears and buy ready-made frames.

SO.......................i told him to join MOPO and gave him the link. i
explained topics like this are often addressed, and that he could post
questions. i, also, said that he should explore vendors like sue heim, and
gave him her LINK. although i never purchased from sue, i told him that she is
an honorable MOPOer.

point is.............we take for granted so much. i remember the learning
process i had, but that was before MOPO.
