Hi Bruce,

Nice to hear from you.

Yes, I did realize the prices that were published and they paid me promptly
for everything less a very reasonable/negotiated commission. It was a
pleasure to work with them.

As a matter of my standard business practice, I like to work with different
companies so that I don't put all my eggs in one basket. When I received
Richard's invitation to join his auction site I saw it as a potential
alternative to Ebay so I attempted to contact him for more information.

That's it - very simple.

I've purchased from you Bruce with excellent results and would, of course,
consider to work with you one day.

Best wishes,

Irv

I have no dog in this race, but I think I can easily address one small part
of this. I, and I am sure many others, have seen some of the sky-high
results at Profiles in History (last year and others) and have wondered if
all of those sales were consummated, and if so, if it was at the listed
prices.

Given that you were a known consignor of some of those pieces that had
reported sky-high results, can you confirm for us that in all cases you
received those amounts (less their commissions)?

And if so, I think the question on everyone's lips is, why would you then
consign anywhere else? And if not, I think the question on everyone's lips
is, why don't they set the record straight and reveal what did sell, and at
what prices?

I am sorry for all the ill feelings this topic has generated, but I would
love to know the answer to the above questions, and if they are answered,
some good will have come out of it.

Hi Richard,
When you invited us to join your new poster auction site you never
responded. I thought that you didn't receive my email but now it's come to
my attention that you are jealous of my successful results with Profiles in
History last year. I have more posters in my collection and just wanted to
help you out by bringing some high end titles and see how we could do
together. I was also going to refer other big collectors to you. How odd
that you show such keen jealousy - I thought that your site's intention was
to bring more sellers to help build up the business. Unfortunate and
perplexing that you're taking another position. I can't understand why the
results of my Profiles auction would have anything to do with selling more
posters on your site.
Best wishes,

Hi Irv

I did get your emails

right now, I'm not adding any sellers
Sean is one of my very best friends and he is always welcome to sell..
other people who have supported me are also welcome.. but at this
point, I'd rather have the site for just a few people

one reality is that even if people sell a million bucks worth.. it
isn't worth alot to me based on % and so I prefer to not really have
competitors

but I have a question for you.. if Profiles did so well for you.. why
aren't they selling more of your stuff???
