Hello Eric and all,

I watched the Heritage auction yesterday and was amazed at how low many
items that are typically high price items realized. There can't be any other
reason than the economy. Typically, I have found that auctions that are closer
to the holidays do even better than auctions at other times of the year. Since
the economists are anticipating the lowest spending during the holidays that
has been seen in years, I'm sure that translates to auctions also. Remember,
when the economy is bad, for the most of us luxury items are the first to get
hit. Many people who are in need of cash are selling off posters right now
also. You've got to deal with the essentials first and for most of us there
isn't much left over right now.
