Hi, Mopoers: I've been reading the tributes to Sam Rubin and am truly sorry I never got a chance to know him. Seems like he was a pioneer and an important mainstay of the hobby, especially in the early days.
Things, of course, have changed a lot since the arrival of the Internet. I know in other collecting areas, the result has been the almost complete disappearance of periodicals dedicated to the hobby. At one time, these magazines were a vital source of information, not to mention marketplaces in and of themselves. Alll this and the mentions of MCW and Classic Images got me wondering: How many of you continue to read either one of these magazines and, if so, do you read the hard copy or do you read it online? How many used to read them but stopped? I'd like to hear from the oldtimers but from newcomers, too. Have you ever looked at them? For that matter, have you ever heard of them before? (Probably not too many in this group who haven't, but you never know.)
