Hello MOPO,
Just wanted to drop an excited note to tell you that my second book is finally
out!

SILVER SCREAM: 40 CLASSIC HORROR MOVIES VOLUME TWO 1941-1951

Now Available from Telos Publishing UK

ISBN 978-1-84583-029-8 (pb)
£12.99 cover price

I take a light-hearted yet heavily-researched approach to examining
forty horror movie classics, featuring titles such as The Wolf Man, Cat
People, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and Black Narcissus(!).

Each chapter covers one film, with a cast and crew list, plot summary,
the best scenes and dialogue, the worst bits, mistakes, a brief on the
historical context of the movie, cast and crew biographies (see next
paragraph), trivia and behind-the-scenes production information, a
critical review by the author and a brief and informal "second opinion"
review by one of the contributors.

Together, both volumes 1 & 2 include a total of 524 deeply
researched and detailed biographies (303 actor biographies - from
leading roles to bit parts - and 221 biographies of directors, writers,
cinematographers, composers, makeup artists, costume designers, art
directors, etc.).

Illustrated throughout with stills and poster art, some rarely seen.

Hope it interests some of you! For more information (including a list of the
movies covered in each volume) visit http://silverscreaminfo.com

PS Of interest to MOPO specifically: I wanted my publisher to include a
country-of-origin one-sheet poster for every chapter, but he preferred to keep
the page count down. It was one of the disappointments I had with how it came
together, but for the most part I'm very happy and very proud of the books.
