Methinks Robbie was a little before C3PO'S time.. unless he could
have travelled back in time, to the 1950s....
On the other hand, maybe Robbie turned down the STAR WARS role and
thats how C3PO nabbed it. ;)

Why is this disturbing? The article simply ponders the idea about
how these films would have appeared (and fared), had the actors who
were originally considered for the roles, been cast in the part.
This happens all the time.
It makes for an interesting set of "alt versions" for some of the
one sheets, that's for sure.
