Hi - I have, framed over my fireplace, John Alvin's original painting for the Phantom of the Paradise Style A; it looks lovely: http://www.swanarchives.org/ImagePopup.asp?image=PhantomComp_lrg.jpg I have been looking for years for the companion piece, which would be Richard Corben's original painting for the Style C. It would look more or less like this: http://www.swanarchives.org/ImagePopup.asp?image=A40_lrg.jpg I know that the folks on this list are mostly collectors of posters, rather than the-art-that-becomes-the-posters, but if anyone's heard of the original Corben artwork ever having come up for auction, or remembers ever having seen it in ANY context, I'd love to hear from you. it's my current "holy grail". Thanks! -Ari
