I wonder if I could get my bug slabbed with Raquel Welch in a One Million Years
B.C. card?...

Actually, the cruelly disinterred bug has my sympathy, Jean Arthur's chin is
pretty good as final resting places go.
Perhaps CGC could find it an alternative plot in a future encapsulation.

I would think that would enhance the value as you get both the card and the
bug for one price.

No, other than put to one side, leave well alone and relax until advice
arrives.

Was there no mention of the CGC encapsulated bug on Jean Arthur's chin in
the description?!!!

So my MR. SMITH portrait card arrived, and upon closer inspection, it
definitely had to come out of the CGC encapsulation because that black spot on
Jean Arthur's chin that I thought was probably dirt or ink is actually a
smashed bug!

I got out my box knife and carefully cut the plastic along one, then
two, then three sides, but I can't get the card out of the plastic! It seems
to be stuck on the end that was closest to the seal (the right side). There's
no room to cut on that side without risking cutting through the plastic to the
paper, and I'm afraid to pull on it too hard, since it already has a tear in
the lower border. Is it possible that the edge of my card is sealed *to* the
plastic instead of *in* it?

Advice anyone? This has got me stressed and perturbed.
