I'm with Sean on this one, if I see poster that's linenbacked, I immediately assume that it had some kind of problem.
Unless a poster is already sold and the client requires it, these days I only have posters linenbacked that have a serious condition issue, that severely lower the display value. (Like stains in a white background of an otherwise nice condition poster.) With all the over-restoration, it's already obvious that many people (collectors and decorators alike) are already willing to pay a serious bonus for unbacked items in great condition.
