The fee on the Spanish end, should be absorbed by your seller......since he is requiring. As for insurance of your purchase: one you can ask to pay the extra to have insured, or two, pay for the Spanish equivalent for International Express Mail or FedEx where a signature is required. Something really disastrous would have to happen to your parcel to get lost or damaged as those are premium modes of shipping.
