Commendable of you Phillip, just observing pretty thankless, and never ending task.

Especially with so many sellers on there with a ridiculously positive view of the market.

I thought that at some point, something would give and people would realise things just aren't worth what they thought, but seems now they're going to keep dreaming until they're buried.

And then, their relatives will be bequeathed priceless artifacts, that are in fact crud.

Richard,

I imagine you are right regarding likelihood of sale given price and popularity of Gene Autry in 2012. However amongst my friends (many of whom think I'm the poster expert just because they know my passion) throughout the years more than one has shown me a "Breakfast at Tiffany's" or "King Kong" poster that they asked me about after they paid way to much money for it. The "original poster" was going to be a centerpiece in their kitchen or family room, only to have me give them bad news after the fact.

For starting bid of $1,500 and BIN of $3k he hasn't even posted a full pic of this treasure.

Invariably there's no thanks for pointing out these things, or is there any genuine danger of someone being dumb enough to buy it?

Before contacting seller regarding item

I would like a more knowledgeable collector to confirm that the portion of the poster being shown is from the 1943 re-release rather than the original 1937 release
