It would seem that this is all part of an EU Directive on recyclable
packaging, but instead of an EU wide single set of requirements it appears
that each country is passing its own law regarding this. I'm no expert but
I think France, Spain and Italy also require
packaging documentation of some sort. Seems like a bit of a nightmare for
the small online retailer and looks like the whole of the EU might soon be
out of bounds.
