i think that what you mean when you say the world is a series of images, is
what rene descartes ment when he wrote about constant creation of the world.
i think you will enjoy reading him and maybe he will help you understand
better what you are thinking.
as for the second idea that the meterial don't really exist i think you
should read some of Berkly's writings
