Roger,

few sparse mumblings ...

Rog:
just go onto Amazon.com and order Fritjof Capra's "Web of Life" asap.

Me:
I will. (But not on Amazon, I need an Italian version, despite of my
wonderful (!) English.... I've already read Capra's Tao of Physics, many
years ago. Good... a little forced.

Rog:
I support the progression of experience to awareness to consciousness.
[...] I would say Marco and I have reached a consensus on the issue.

Me:
Could be.... but it is strange that you are not in agreement with the
other PROs, and I feel I'm not in disagreement with them. And you have
been seeming to be in agreement with PZEPH, while I'm not...

Platt (to me):
Are you OK with "atoms experience" and "atoms evaluate?"

My Answer:
Yes, I guess.

Platt (to you) :
This does seem to be the crux— in your interpretation of the MOQ that no
beings other than human can have experience whereas in my interpretation
all beings ... have experience.

Your answer:
I never said no beings can have experience. I said beings are
derived/created from experience. This applies to atoms as well as
people. To oversimplify greatly, my argument is the mystic one, not the
solipsistic/idealist one (which presumes cartesian duality from the
outset)

Me:
So you are not with Elephant, I guess, who seems to be on the idealistic
one.... Anyway. Your sentence: "beings are derived/created from
experience" is common to all the MOQers, I guess. From a SOM vision the
immediate question is: "and *who* is experiencing?". Here come the
differences: I don't know if I've understood the various positions, I
try....

The idealist MOQer (PZEPH?) will say: mind.
The mystic MOQer (ROG?) will say: there's no *who*, really: the who
comes later.
In my MOQ vision, *who* is everything. All "things" simultaneously are
made of static values, and are the flow ...

Not easy, not easy.....

Marco.
