Actually, the Market exists since the time of the creation of the social level,
I guess. And Freedom is even more ancient, isn't it? So the idea of a Free
Market must be very old.

It is Pirsig who writes: "It is not that Victorian social economic patterns are
more moral than socialist intellectual economic patterns... ". IMO he just wants
to say that the Victorians are supporters of the market... don't you think that
Mr  Richard Rigel could well be a good stock jobber?
