I have just uploaded a _major_ revision to the tpsDig program. I am calling it ver. 2.00. Life most ".00" versions, I expect there may be many small problems so please do not use the program on your only copy of any important data files!
The main motivation for this upgrade was to replace the graphics libraries I had been using with more modern ones that could handle current high resolution image files. These new routines made some features easier to program but they also made others more difficult due to their different design. Some notable new features: many more image enhancement operations, 9 levels of undo for the image operations, you can zoom in and out using the mouse wheel (I have found that very convenient), and you can now measure angles. Other features are similar to the previous version except for the template mode which is now more primitive (it only allows translation, not rotation or scaling). Points along curves and outlines can now be edited more easily. It still supports extracting frames from .AVI files. There is now a copy of the help file in the form of a PDF file in case you prefer a printed manual. There is also a link to the previous version (1.40) in case you find major problems with the new version. Please notify my of any problems you have in using the program or of additional features that you would like to have. ----------------------- F.
