I don't know of anything to do this specific job but you can do it
fairly easily with one of the free machine vision libraries. OpenCV
has routines for this but you'd need to write some sort of wrapper.
There's also a Matlab version that presumably is a bit easier to use.
However they will expect some form of calibration to work properly and
that can be surprisingly tricky.

Are you looking to recognize landmarks by hand are do you want the
software to do the feature extraction? The former is much easier!
